Dubai summers don’t leave much room for an outdoor jog, but Dubai Mallathon 2026 offers a cooler way to keep moving. From 15 June to 15 September 2026, six of Dubai’s biggest malls are opening their doors every morning for free indoor walking, jogging and running sessions.

Sessions run daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and no registration is required for the regular daily sessions. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a comfortable walk or training toward a 10km goal, you can choose your own pace and distance.

What Is Dubai Mallathon 2026?

Dubai Mallathon is a Dubai Sports Council running event that turns climate-controlled shopping malls into indoor fitness spaces during the summer. Now in its second year, the event gives residents and visitors a way to stay active while avoiding Dubai’s extreme outdoor summer temperatures.

The 2026 Mallathon runs for three months and features six participating malls across Dubai.

How Do the Daily Sessions Work?

For the regular morning sessions, there is no app to download and no registration form to complete. Simply arrive at a participating mall between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM and collect a wristband on-site.

You can choose the distance and pace that works for you:

• Walk at your own pace
• 2km or 2.5km for a manageable beginner-friendly session
• 5km or 10km for those training toward a goal
• On-site trainers are available to help guide pacing, and dedicated sessions are available at several malls for women, senior citizens and People of Determination.

Want a Real Race? Join a Pro Run

If you’re looking for a more competitive challenge, the 2026 calendar also includes timed pro race days at selected malls throughout the season.

Unlike the regular daily sessions, pro races require advance registration, and race dates vary by mall. Check the schedule for your chosen location before planning your race.
